My FIRST Bacon-Wrapped French Fry
Ah yes. That is correct. Bacon-wrapped french fries!!! Can I get an Amen! There is a new kid in town, The Rockin’ Diner, and he’s serving up the most authentic (and deliciously sinful) American comfort food you’ll find on this side of the Pacific.
Ladies, you’re going to want to leave your diet at home.
Bacon-Wrapped French Fries and Spam Fries
I was lucky enough to attend a tasting at the newly opened Rockin’ Diner featuring some of their specialty dishes: Bacon-Wrapped French Fries, Spam Fries (SUPER Delish!) The Signature Philadelphia Cheese Steak, Little Italy’s Killa Lasagna, A To-Die-For Bowl of House Chilli, and a Reeces-Inspired Pie filled with peanut butter and dark chocolate, sprinkled with white chocolate chips. With options like these, your tastebuds will be rockin’ out, for sure. Oh, and don’t worry about leaving hungry, the servings are American sized… and by that I mean they could probably feed a family of 4.

You might recognize the incredible oversized hotdogs which were previously offered at The Mustard Incident in Tangs, however the concept has grown into a full blown restaurant diner, which is now located on Club Street. The owner, Kelly Koh is a fantastic host and has made sure that the food and atmosphere remain entirely authentic to the American Diner experience, with no fusion nonsense. After having studied and lived in California and Hawaii, Kelley fell in love with great American Cuisine and decided it was time to have the real deal in Asia, with the first stop in Singapore.
Me with Kelly (Owner)
Located at 11, Club Street, The Rockin’ Diner has a cool, fun vibe that’s perfect for a casual night out any day of the week. They also have a large selection of foreign beers with some pretty interesting names that make for good dinner conversation. I’ll let you check that out for yourself 🙂 While they do have some salads on the menu, The Rockin’ Diner is really about good ol’ American indulgences, so if you’re in the market for true Americana, you will certainly be pleased.
