A friend of mine took me today to a fantastic hole-in-the-wall restaurant, on the 2nd floor of Fortune Centre, called Plural. Apparently they are known for their fantastic meatballs, but as I don’t eat meat, I had their steamed fish with rice and vegetables and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend. If you work in the area, (near City Hall MRT) it’s a great stop for a quick, casual, light meal. The best part is that the whole thing cost about $7. Seriously a steal for the quality of food. Onto my outfit of the day and info about jewelry sales!
Sometimes I find Singapore a bit difficult to dress for because of the climate. It’s hot and humid outside, but freezing indoors (most places). There is a sort of vacation feel for an outsider like me– I see tropical plants and I just assume I’m on holiday, but it’s a chic buzzy working city where people dress up and care about fashion (which I love!).
Anyway, today’s look is Zara black high-waisted shorts with Zara silk top, an H&M white waistcoat, Gold ombre Gucci bag and LindseyMarie carnelian necklace and Rose quartz Mirabelle rings (www.lindseymarie.com). LindseyMarie actually has a sale on Carnelian pieces this month as it is the stone of the month. I’m always interested in the stories behind stones and Carnelian has quite a cool story. It is said that Carnelian aids in motivation and endurance, leadership and courage. (http://www.crystalvaults.com/crystal-encyclopedia/carnelian).
