Travel Secrets from Europe: How to Feel Slim After 20 Hours of Traveling and How to Pack Less but Still Look Fab

Quick international trips can be a nightmare to pack for, and once you arrive,  there are always a few obstacles to overcome as a result of endless hours cooped up on a plane: Jet-lag, swelling, bloating, feeling generally bleh…  Well, I have a couple of tips that really work for me, such as keeping packed outfits monochrome (and by monochrome, I mean black), Statement Jewelry (I’ll explain why later), and if you happen to be in Eupope, Contrex- a mineral water that helps “eliminate” and therefore aids with bloating and the process of losing weight.

If the trip is business oriented, a few days in all black will keep you chic and make life easy for mixing and matching.  2 weeks abroad= a couple of black dresses, a few tops and bottoms, 1 matching handbag, maybe 1 small clutch, 1 pair black pumps, 1 pair black flats, and here is where you make it interesting: The Jewelry/Accessories!   It takes way less room in a suitcase to pack some fun statement jewelry and belts, than it does to pack loads of clothes, with shoes and accessories to match.  If you keep it simple in black for the wardrobe, you can add all kinds of gorgeous jewels to make the outfit pop.  In the end it looks chic and stylish at the same time.  Here, I feature LindseyMarie Rockstar Collection necklace, bracelet, earrings and ring- all bold pieces but together they make a simple black monochrome outfit look fabulous. or

The other tip that really helps me feel better after a looong flight to Europe is the bottled water Contrex.  It’s a water that contains high levels of minerals like calcium and magnesium which, according to their website, help to fill deficiencies and aide in elimination  A study they conducted, showed that 9 out of 10 people felt that it helped with elimination and therefore made them feel slimmer.  I can tell you from experience that this water helps with any kind of bloating and I think it’s a great natural way to get extra minerals aside from a multi-vitamin.  It tastes a little different, but after lots of traveling, it’s a wonderful secret weapon to bouncing back to your normal self…If only it could help with jet-lag too…
