Just arrived in my other home, Geneva, Switzerland and despite my jet-lag, decided to go for a long run outside in the fresh air. I actually forgot how amazing the air is here. You can feel your lungs breathing deeper– fresh, clean oxygen… It’s amazing.
I got super lucky and had a bright blue sky, and about 18C weather. So, I really couldn’t resist getting my trainers out and hitting the trails (plus, they say outdoor exercise actually HELPS you adjust to a big time change…). I also just signed up for a marathon at the end of the year, so it’s time to get serious about training.
