Finally some nice sunny weather today, which called for a bit of exploring on Sentosa Island. Just a short cab ride (or train/bus) from downtown Singapore is the Island of Sentosa, where there are some small beaches, resorts, and lots of amusement for little ones including, the SEA Aquarium (largest in the world), Universal Studios, simulated surfing, simulated sky diving, and much more. It was our first time there, and we just wanted to have a little look around to get a feel for the area, therefore I can’t claim to know everything about it. That will have to be for next time… The part we saw, Siloso Beach and Resort World, were easy going, family friendly day/weekend getaways. We started at the Shangrila for some refreshments and then walked down all of Siloso Beach and then up through to Resort World. Here’s a few snap shots from our adventure.
